Andrea Glover is an accomplished designer, artist, entrepreneur and educator who resides in the
historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. She is a proud graduate of the University of South
Carolina, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. She
is also a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she received her Master of Fine
Arts degree in Graphic Design.
Currently, Andrea is a Professor of Graphic Design at Charleston Southern University. She has also
worked as a graphic designer for several companies— including Charleston Magazine, Gulfstream
Aerospace, ABC22 and Spartina 449.
Notably, Spartina 449 is a world-renowned handbag company which is based out of the Lowcountry
region of South Carolina. Andrea was one of the very first designers to be hired during the
origination of the company in 2009, and she played an essential role in the initial launching,
development, and subsequent expansion of the company.
Spartina 449 is now a multi-million dollar company with store locations all over the world—including a location in downtown Charleston. Their current logo was designed by Andrea during the early stages of the company. Andreaʼs product designs, design work, and logo for Spartina 449 can still be found in stores around the globe.
Andrea has had the honor and privilege of being featured in Southern Lady Magazine on behalf of her
business, Letter Décor Signature Collection, a company that she has launched and in which she has created a myriad of custom-made paintings and handlettered pieces for various clients across the

Andreaʼs work has also been featured and has received rave reviews on the Charleston City Marketʼs social media pages—namely, Instagram and Facebook—in order to highlight the unique and exquisite work of her company.
